Old Georgians HC has a thriving Junior section with over 300 members, including 75 new members having joined in the last 12 months.

We have training sessions for all from age 4 to 16, with regular fixtures from U10’s onwards. Last year was the first season with new Junior Director, double Team GB Olympian Ian Sloan, and Junior Boys Development Lead, triple Team GB Olympian David Ames, coaching our Junior teams. Alongside the rest of the outstanding coaching group, they have strived to create an outstanding learning environment for all players that is amongst the best in the country.

This season we welcome two outstanding female coaches to our club. Helen Jelley and Lucy Wood have joined as Junior Girls Development Co-Leads. Helen will be coaching the U10 & U12 groups whilst Lucy will be working with the U14 & U16’s. Helen is a former England Hockey Coach of the Year whilst Lucy represented England & Great Britain at senior international level, winning a Commonwealth Games silver medal.

Training takes place during the autumn and spring school terms, and is on the following evenings:

Annual membership is charged on a pro-rata basis depending on how much of the season is remaining when you first attend. The full season rate for U10 - U16 is £320 and for U6 - U8 it is £195.
