Come along for a fun and welcoming introduction to hockey at Old Georgians Hockey Club!
Sunday Morning Minis sessions are a great way for young players to have fun, learn new skills and experience hockey in a friendly and supportive environment.
Session Information:
Reception - Year 3
Sundays from 9:30 - 10:45
St George’s College, Weybridge, KT15 2QS
Sessions combine fun games & learning hockey skills
What to bring:
Gum shield, shin guards & water bottle
Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate sports clothing and trainers
Hockey sticks are available to borrow, if you don’t have one
On arrival:
At the hockey pitch, age group managers Emma & Ceylan will welcome you and register your child for the session
We encourage parents to stay and watch during the taster session where possible, particularly while children are getting comfortable in a new environment
After your taster session:
Each player can attend one taster session before moving on to a block booking or Junior membership
Block bookings are made on this site, and are for the remaining Sunday sessions up until the next half-term break
Junior Membership - join OGHC for the remainder of the season, with membership charged on a pro-rata basis. This offers the best value and also enables children to take part in monthly fixtures against other clubs, where appropriate. Please email Ian Sloan at juniordirector@oghc.org for a link to sign up.
Additional information:
Please use the first car park on the left when you enter St George’s College. The quickest route to the hockey pitches is across the fields. If this is inaccessible, follow the path alongside the main building and past the indoor tennis courts, before turning right and walking through the car park next to to the outdoor tennis courts.
Sessions take place outdoors and will only be cancelled if the pitch is frozen (or for other extreme weather conditions). Notification of the session cancellation will come to the email that you have used when booking.
2026 dates: Sunday 13th September - Sunday 13th December (half-term break on Sunday 25th October)
2027 dates: Sunday 10th January - Sunday 21st March (half-term break on Sunday 14th February)
